Republic of Korea Army (대한민국 육군)
It is mandatory for all men to serve in a military in South Korea. As a citizen of South Korea, I also served in Republic of Korea Army for two years (21 months). I am currently a Sergeant Reserve of Republic of Korean Army.
South Korea and North Korea are the only divided countries in the world. Since the Korean War that started on 1950, both countries declared a ceasefire. South Korea is an ally with United States of America as well as many other enlisted nations of United Nations. |
